Terms of Service

Hydro is a Discord bot that posts a hydration reminder in a channel, or plays a short audio clip in a voice channel, on an interval you choose. It acts only inside servers it has been added to, only in the channels you point it at, and only through Discord’s official bot APIs.

By default only members with the Manage Server permission can run /hydro. Server administrators can change who may use it under Server Settings → Integrations and are responsible for anyone they grant it to.

Administrators decide which channels Hydro posts in or joins, how often it fires and which roles it mentions. A voice reminder stays in its channel between reminders and plays the clip on schedule whether or not anyone is there. Any effect those choices have on your members, including notifications from role mentions, is your responsibility.

You agree not to:

• Use Hydro to spam, harass or disrupt a server or its members
• Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service
• Use Hydro in violation of Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

Hydro is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind. While we aim for a reliable service, we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted availability, or that a reminder fires at the exact moment it is due
• Compatibility with future Discord changes
• That the service will continue to be offered

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frmwrk Software and its contributors will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Hydro.

Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. Hydro is an independent project by Frmwrk Software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord Inc.

We may remove Hydro from servers that misuse it or breach Discord’s Terms of Service, and may suspend or discontinue the service at any time. You can stop using Hydro whenever you like: run /hydro stop for each channel, or remove the bot from your server, and its reminders are deleted.

These terms may change. We will update the date at the top of this page when they do, and continued use of Hydro after a change means you accept it.
